Ninja vs Aliens!!!

I swear to you I am NOT making this up. Funimation, the company behind the licencing of hundreds of anime in America is releasing it’s latest aquisition, which is not an anime…it’s a live action film about a clan of ninjas fighting an alien.

Apparently this movie has been circling around for quite some time. Alien vs. Ninja was showcased first at the 2010 New York Asian Film Festival and even made its way into some anime and comic conventions, (more than likely to entertain the audience. Not in the usual sense but more like in the Mystery Science Theater sense!) However now the movie is going to come out on DVD on Feburary 22nd for that in home viewing pleasure its fan base so desperately seeks.

I hadn’t seen a movie that looked this ridiculous yet draw my attention since Megashark vs. Giant Octopus. Yeah…you can guess how that went with a name like that. (Hint: I don’t think it’s EVER been outside the bargain bin), but chances are that I will try to get my hands on this movie when it comes out. It’s more than likely going to be like a train wreck, initially it’s something you want to look at, but then you might start to feel bad after you finally do…especially for all of the people who were involved in it.

If you want to see more Alien vs Ninja, the trailer to the movie is available on it’s main site.

Didn’t John Marston and other cowboys already kill the aliens?
